"Yellow Mike is the reason there are so many different races and creatures in the world, today. Before Yellow Mike, people were pretty much all alike. Like the Sleepers and Shelties. Well, like you, for example. Yellow Mike first came into existence shortly before The Great Destruction. It made people crazy and changed them so that their children would be 'different.' Some say the craziness of Yellow Mike is what caused the Great Destruction. I guess it was some sort of virus and it kindof died out when there were no more uninfected hosts. I say 'kindof' because some people believe Yellow Mike just changed after the Great Destruction and started attacking dead bodies. That's the reason bodies come back to life after about a day, which wasn't always true, from what I've been told."
