[Technical Note: At this point, the player will get to play the Hacker Mini-Game. This game will consist of a square grid secretly populated with open spaces and blocked spaces. The character will start in a corner and must get to the target, which will be in the opposite corner. There will also be an XP value in another corner. This XP goal is optional but, if the character gets it, he will earn the experience if he successfully reaches the target (otherwise no experience will be awarded). Each time the player moves, the computer will make a Technology roll (at a very low EF). If it is successful, the adjacent open spaces will turn green and the adjacent blocked spaces will turn red. If the roll is unsuccessful, all the adjacent squares will remain black (including squares the player has already occupied). The player will then have to guess which direction to move in. If he hits any blocked space, he will be booted from the system and will have to start over (with a new board). Each square will get only one Technology roll and the result will be locked into that square (i.e., moving back and forth will not help the character). For the demo, the third such game will be populated with nothing but empty spaces, ensuring success (but the player could conceivably win the game on his first or second try.]
